Wellness Tip: (Nutrition/Supplementation): One Thing At A Time!
When diving into the world of health and wellness, like many things, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all that is available.
During my nutritional journey to wellness, I tried everything from goat milk (yuk!), to gluten free wraps (pretty good), to an eating regiment of only fruits and vegetables for a week! (I had so much energy!).
Although the journey was frustrating at times, and still is occasionally, during the journey I became more in tune with what my body did well with and what it didn’t do well with. For example, as soon as I eat something with wheat in it, I begin to clear my throat. My body doesn’t like it. A few days ago, I found a wonderful little treasure called Greens Organics – Organics Wild Berry at my local health food store. Here’s the link for what it looks like. After four days of Greens Organics, I have so much more energy!
It is important to start new things one thing at a time when it comes to nutrition and supplementation. Why you ask? Well, if your body begins to have a reaction, good or bad, you won’t recognize which new thing is the cause of the reaction. For example, I bought the Green Organics and I also have a new vitamin for allergies called Clear Guard. I’m going to wait at least a week before starting the Clear Guard so that I can notice any changes that may arise in my body. Always remember, try new things one thing at a time. Give yourself a week in between. What supplements have worked for you lately???
